Mission Trips
Our mission in Quetzaltenango took us to a region characterized by beautiful mountains and a vibrant culture, but also one marked by poverty and limited access to healthcare. The local community, though rich in tradition, often struggles to receive adequate medical attention, especially in pediatric eye care.

Ben Tre, Vietnam (September 2024)
Vietnam, with its rich history and rapid development, faces unique challenges in healthcare access, particularly in rural areas. Our first stop was the Vietnam National Eye Hospital in Hanoi, where we aligned our efforts with their mission to enhance the quality of eye care in the country.

Guatemala (February 2025, upcoming)
We are excited for 2025, to continue our reach around the world. Next up, Guatemala.

Kathmandu, Nepal (November 2024)
Our journey took us to the bustling city of Kathmandu, a place steeped in culture and spirituality, yet challenged by healthcare disparities. In collaboration with the Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology and the legendary Dr. Sanduk Ruit, known as the "Barefoot Surgeon," we aimed to empower local healthcare providers.

Baeksok University, Korea (November 2024)
Our final event of the year brought us to Baekseok University, where we engaged with a vibrant audience of 1,400 students. This lecture was a culmination of our year’s work, focusing on the importance of global health and the idea of "paying it forward."
